The Education portfolio is a dynamic, collaborative and high-performing team who work on the management and innovation of RESN's tutoring and non-academic services. As a Tutoring Officer, whether you are coordinating our tutor base in running RESN's services, discussing how our services could be improved, or brainstorming entirely new service offerings, you will be making an immediate difference to hundreds of regional and rural students.

We are looking for Officers who have:

• Passion for improving students’ access to high quality educational services regardless of geography
• An astute ability to think creatively, take initiative and problem solve
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

Key Tasks

As a Tutoring Officer, you’ll likely be focusing on one service and leading the strategic direction as well as the day-to-day operations of this service. Here's a snapshot of what a semester as a Tutoring Officer might look like for you:

• Regularly communicating with our team of tutors
• Attending weekly team meetings and contributing to discussions within a multi-faceted team
• Being involved in dynamic discussions about improving RESN's tutoring services and tutor experience
• Implementing new initiatives to improve RESN’s services
• Attending RESN events where possible
